Allusion's sheer vanes are the innovative solution to the privacy paradox. Opaque vertical blinds operate as normal, so that you can adjust the light levels in your property and close the blinds completely when you wish.
But with the opaque vertical blinds partially or fully open, the voile vanes provide a secondary layer, screening the gap between the vertical louvres.
Each vane is an individual segment, allowing you to walk through your blinds at any position along their length - and once you pass through, the vanes drop back into place behind you, continuing to protect your privacy.
This unique shading solution keeps harsh direct sunlight out, instead providing diffuse lighting conditions inside your home, as well as a physical barrier to help prevent unwanted visitors such as flies and wasps during the summer months.
Perfect for patio door blinds
Allusion blinds can be fitted to windows, but are especially effective on patio doors and bi-fold doors, where they control light levels across the large areas of glazing, without preventing easy access to and from the exterior of your property.
For large bi-folding doors, you can also equip your Allusion door and window blinds with Louvolite OneTouch remote control motors, so that you can open, close or adjust the blinds with a single touch.
With OneTouch, there are no trailing cords that could represent a risk to young children or pets living in your property. Even without automating your blinds, we can supply Allusion blinds with a rigid wand operation, again representing a safe and convenient way to open and close the blinds manually.
Unobstructed views and vistas
If you're not sure you'll always want to view your garden through a veil of translucent vanes, don't worry - it's easy to open Allusion blinds completely, for a truly unobstructed view.
Just glide the privacy vanes to one side on the smooth-running rail, and you'll be left with a completely open window or door.
When you want privacy, simply slide them back into place and the soft fabric vanes will drop back to form the privacy wall once again and screen off your interior space.
