Buildings Maintenance Engineer
Working Hours:
40 hours per week – 8.00am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
1 hour - unpaid lunch break
We are recruiting for a Buildings Maintenance Engineer based at our Ashton Road site in Hyde (SK14 4BG).
As our Buildings Maintenance Engineer, you will report directly to the Facilities Manager, supporting the factory operations and office environment with the repair and maintenance of miscellaneous equipment throughout multiple sites and general building and maintenance work in and around the sites.
Main Responsibilities & Duties
• Joinery and repair work within the factory and office environment.
• Improvements and alterations to existing building lay out.
• Repair work on miscellaneous equipment.
• Basic plumbing repairs and improvement throughout all areas.
• Plastering/Painting.
• General building work.
• Making jigs.
• Tiling.
Essential Criteria:
• Advanced craft equivalent qualifications in a relevant trade, Joinery, Plumbing, Builder.
• UK Driving licence.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail.
• High level of accuracy..
• Good mathematical skills for taking measurements.
• Creative and good eye for design.
• Able to work alone without guidance.
• Works efficiently as part of a team.
If successful, you will complete a three-month probation period.
