Most common issues raised with Lithium Motors

Roller Blinds

Charge for 5-6 hours and try again.

Smaller blinds may need weight added to the bottom bar to ensure they go down smoothly. Make sure the roller tube has no burrs or damage before assembling the blind. The blind may need to be disassembled to inspect the motor, please get a blind manufacturer to do this for you.

The motor beeping indicates that the battery is flat and needs to be charged, charge the blinds for 4/5 hours for a full charge.

The motor clicking may indicate that the idle end isn’t pressed into the bracket enough. To resolve this issue, the idle end bracket must be moved closer to the blind so the idle end plunger is pushed in by at least 4mm.

Motors that are not holding charge could indicate that the motor needs replacing; other radio controlled applications in the house could be interfering with the blind and causing the battery to drain. Ensure you don’t leave the blind on charge for too long as this could reduce the lifespan, charge for 6 hours then remove the charger.

If you lose the limits (up and down positions) on your blind please visit our YouTube video here.

If your controller is flashing it could be that the buttons on the back are stuck inside, to open the remote controller first take out the battery and slide the front and back away each other, check the rubber buttons aren’t stuck in then slide the two parts of the remote control back together.
