With winter approaching and many of us still confined to our homes, its great time to start thinking about how you can cosy up your home in preparation for the holidays ahead. It could be as simple as throwing an extra rug down, re-painting your walls or changing your blinds. We break down some of the ways your can keep your home toasty all winter long, below...
1. Cover up cold flooring
Tiling, laminate or wood can often feel cold (not a shock you want when you first get out of bed in the morning!) so adding some shaggy or wool rugs will not only make it much cosier but will add some lovely new elements to the room.

2. Consider changing your colour scheme
Youβll be surprised at how a lick of paint can make a room feel moreβ¦snug. Opt for warm colours like reds, yellows, greens, oranges and browns for a super warm, inviting feel. See how the room below feels cosier with just an accent wall!
3. Insulate your windows
You first layer of defence is your windows so itβs important to get your window covering right! Think cellular for itβs insulating benefits, or shutters for their flush frame fit to eliminate drafts right at the source.
4. Keep your blankets and throws handy
Trust us on this one, you'll want to keep your blankets at arms reach! Pop some of your favourite chunky snuggly throws in a wicker basket for a pinterest perfect dΓ©cor piece. It wonβt just look good β youβll feel cosy all winter through.
