Matter over Thread is a smart home protocol which allows multiple devices from all different companies to communicate in a smart home environment without needing a separate hub for every single device. The main benefit is that our blinds can pair to their smart home without needing a hub and they can easily set timers/schedules via their smart home app.
Their Home Pod (e.g. Alexa) MUST have something called a ‘Thread Border Router’ – this is built into the newer and more premium Home Pods – they must have at least one of these in the home for the blinds to pair.
A few smart home systems which this works with include: Google, Amazon Alexa, Samsung Smart things and Apple Home kit.

Yes, there are three speeds.
You can increase the speed by press P – STOP – UP and decrease the speed by pressing P – STOP – DOWN. The motors are set at the slowest speed by default when new.

You can set one ‘favourite’ position which is operated by pressing the heart button on the side of the remote.

Three in total, a 1, 6 and 16 channel remote – we recommend the 16 channel to get the full 2 way experience.
How often do the blinds have to be charged?
This will vary depending on the motor and size of blind, we recommend all lithium batteries are charged at least every 6 months, even if the motor still has charge.
What is the maximum run time?
6 minutes per operation.
What is the maximum input voltage for charging?
5V 2A
How long do the motors take to charge?
Roughly 6 – 8 hours depending on the battery size of the motor.
Can I still pair the motors to the old hub/Louvolite app?
The new motors will not pair to the old hub (R1764) or pair to the Neo Smartblinds app. The new motors will pair to a new app called ‘LL OneTouch’ and will pair to the new hub.
Can you operate your blinds with the app without the hub?
Yes, you can pair and operate the blinds via Bluetooth – you must be in range of the blinds and will not be able to operate them away from the home.
Can you see the battery level on the single and six channel remotes?
No, the bi-directions features such as battery level and blind position are only available on the 16 channel remote.
